Buying your first home is such an exciting and overwhelming process. Myself and my partner Jason did not know what we were doing and got advice from all directions. The advice we took from a work colleague to work with Amanda at Smart Choice was great advice. Through the whole process, Amanda was helpful and honest, always keeping us in the loop. We never felt the questions we were asking were stupid, which was a huge relief as there was so much we did not know or understand so we ended up asking a lot of questions. Amanda always listened to our queries and would answer them to her best knowledge. We never felt any pressure from her as she always reassured us that I was our decision and an important one so take our time. we never felt we were missing out on any information. the small things that once you are living somewhere are the big things were always talked about. For example, Amanda would tell us if she knew the neighbours and what the street was like if she had sold homes there before. We ended up buying a lovely home next door to another one of her clients who we get on well with. It is the small things that made purchasing our first home so easy and a joy rather than a hassle. When Tibor came to take the sign down from outside our home he took some photos of us in front of the sign before he left, humouring us as we tried again and again and again to get the perfect jumping photo.
